She prays the Lord's prayer in Aramaic, believing in Prophet Isaiah's promise of a future Middle East highway and covenant linking Assyria, Egypt and Israel, but she says from more than six thousand years of history that the great powers always follow their own interests. We spoke to the Christian activist, who has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2021, at the podcast studio of Hetek.

Juliana Taimoorazy is one of the best-known representatives of persecuted Christians in the Middle East, founding president of the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, international spokesperson for the Assyrian people. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2021 for her work. Her autobiographical book on the history of his people and the struggles of Assyrian Christians, Daughters of Nineveh, will soon be published. Leading news channels around the world have interviewed her and reported on Juliana's activities. Born in Tehran, a few years before the Islamist revolution, her parents managed to smuggle their daughter out of Iran at the age of 17. She currently lives in the United States.
